The 25 oz. vacuum insulated Stainless Steel Food Jar from Zojirushi features an electro-polished SlickSteel® finish interior, making the inner surface smooth as well as resilient to corrosion and stains. As an alternative to non-stick coating, SlickSteel® method uses a polishing process rather than coating to treat and finish the interior of the jar. The resulting interior then allows for a hygienic use, making it hard for any stains or food residues to stick and hinder the cleaning of the jar.
Vacuum insulation technology, used in select Zojirushi products, sees the removal of the air from in between the double layer of stainless steel that make up the walls of the jar. This, aided with the placement of copper or aluminum layer which serves to reflect heat, means that heat cannot transfer through the walls of the jar and thus, the contents are minimally impacted by external conditions. This insulation is sealed in by the snug-fitting lid which prevents leaks or spillage.
The wide opening makes it possible to eat directly out of the jar while the molded dimples on the lid ease gripping and opening it securely. The SW-FCE75 is created and assembled using BPA-free materials, making it suitable for every day use.
