Sori Yanagi

Sori Yanagi was a famous Japanese product designer who was influential in Japan’s post World War II high-growth period. He is a representative of Japanese modern design, merging simplicity and practicality with elements of traditional Japanese craftsmanship. His kitchen product design series started from stainless cutlery in 1974 and expanded to kettles, pans and bowls. Many of his furniture design pieces are featured in MoMA.
